Artist. Woman. Philanthropist.
Born in Milan, Italy, Lavinia Haas is self-taught, earning degrees in business and design before growing into a full-time artist. Her free, unconventional training pushes her to experiment with a wide cadre of media and techniques, from abstract painting to figurative portraits, collages and landscapes.
Operating outside a prescription, she plays with lines, geometries and pigments. The resulting art is dominated by a striking sense of colour, meticulously sought to evoke emotions and expand her boundaries.
Among the artist’s most powerful influences are Warhol, Rothko, Af Klint, Van Gogh, les Fauves, Cocteau and Fontana.
Come see her works at her atelier in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, France, and at CASA W Venice, Italy.
